Publication Fee

Heritage: International Journal of Linguistics and Literature, published by the Global Heritage Research Center for Languages and Literature, is committed to advancing academic research by ensuring all published content is freely accessible to readers. This open-access model reflects the journal’s dedication to fostering scholarly communication and maximizing the visibility of research without imposing financial barriers on readers or authors.

To sustain its operations and maintain high publication standards, the journal charges Article Publication Costs (APCs). These fees cover essential expenses such as peer review, typesetting, and maintaining the journal’s digital infrastructure. Notably, these charges support the reviewers for their invaluable contributions, ensuring the quality and integrity of published works.

Financial Policy

  • No fees are required at the time of manuscript submission, allowing equitable access for researchers from diverse economic backgrounds.
  • APCs are only applied once a manuscript has undergone peer review and been accepted for publication, ensuring authors are charged only after receiving value through the journal’s editorial and review processes.

APC Rates

  • For National Authors: PKR 20,000
  • For International Authors: USD 70

Payment Instructions

Once a manuscript is accepted for publication, an invoice specifying the APC amount will be issued to the authors. Detailed payment instructions will accompany the invoice to ensure transparency and ease of payment. This system allows authors to concentrate on their research rather than administrative formalities.

The APC model is integral to maintaining the open-access nature of Heritage: International Journal of Linguistics and Literature, enabling unrestricted access to pioneering research on a global scale. By aligning financial requirements with the delivery of essential services, the journal furthers its mission of promoting wide-ranging research dissemination and cultivating a vibrant international academic community.
